Gameduino

Gameduino is an exciting new shield that works with the Arduino. It allows you to develop video games that are in the same class as Super NES games. It has a powerful FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) that handles all the work. The FPGA houses a graphics controller that supports 256 sprites, a sound controller that is capable of creating 64 simultaneous voices or sounds, and a built in coprocessor to offload tasks from the Arduino. The Gameduino API is full featured and provides all the API's required for generating graphics and sound.
